Hi, I’m Leon DL3ON, and I’m glad you found my travel blog!
I discovered the hobby of amateur radio in 2020 during the pandemic. Meanwhile, I am mostly involved in contesting, but occasionally I am also involved in other activities such as radiosondes or satellites. I am currently studying electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, where I occasionally activate the DL0TUM club station.

UPCOMING: ALL-YOUTH TEAM AT PJ2T 2025
We are organizing and fundraising for an all-youth contest team to travel to the renowned PJ2T radio station in Curaçao. Together, we’ll showcase the power of young talent in the world of amateur radio. This initiative brings together a dynamic group of young operators from around the world, all eager to sharpen our skills and participate in the CQ WW SSB contest at one of the most famous contest stations in the Caribbean.
